About Me…
Design has always been part of my story… even when my career began somewhere completely different.
After spending 15 years working in accounting while running a small interior decorating business on the side, I developed a deep appreciation for both creativity and structure, a balance that continues to shape my approach to design today. In 2024, I took a leap and joined a structural design firm as their in-house interior designer, where I focused on residential and commercial floor plan drafting, spatial planning, and design development. That experience expanded my technical knowledge and strengthened my ability to bridge the gap between vision and functionality.
In 2026, I decided it was time to take an even bigger step: investing fully in myself and my passion by launching my design work full-time. Today, I combine technical drafting skills with a love for creating warm, livable spaces that feel both intentional and personal.
When I’m not designing, you’ll usually find me managing life with my four amazing kids, tackling home projects, or convincing my talented (and sometimes reluctant) husband to help bring another idea to life.

MK Interior Decorating began in 2016 with a simple holiday storefront project and quickly grew into something much bigger. What started as weekend decorating consults and seasonal styling evolved into a steady stream of interior projects, custom work, and creative collaborations. Along the way, markets, handcrafted pieces, and hands-on design experiences helped shape the foundation of the brand: thoughtful, approachable design with purpose.
Today, MK Interiors & Co reflects a more comprehensive vision.
After years of balancing accounting, independent decorating work, and serving as an in-house interior designer within a structural design firm, the company has expanded to offer full-service interior design, floor plan drafting, interior and exterior elevations, 3D visualizations, color consulting, and spatial planning for both new builds and renovations.
MK Interiors & Co blends creativity with technical precision, bringing together aesthetic vision and functional planning to create spaces that feel intentional, livable, and beautifully executed.
This rebrand represents more than a name change. It reflects growth, experience, and a commitment to delivering thoughtful design solutions from concept through visualization.
